Located in the corner of Jalan Blambangan and Jalan Padri Kuta in Banjar Temacun, Kuta, the vihara with its Chinese ornaments, lanterns, and characters on its walls is open for the public. The Dalai Lama himself visited the vihara in 1982.


In memory and as a prayer to the victims of the Bali Bombings in 2002 and 2005, the Bali Bombing Monument was constructed as a symbol of human sympathy. The monument, which is a landmark of Kuta, is engraved with the names of the 202 victims. It is located in Jalan Legian, right across the street from the site of the bombings.
